LithgowLights have been supporting Redkite since 2009, an Australian charity dedicated to supporting children and young people through cancer. Over that time we have raised over $33,000 in donations for them, and we will continue this partnership in 2018, our 10th year with Redkite, and 12th year of animated displays

Jenni Seton CEO being presented the cheques from us, along with the thank you certificate presented to us. Early next month an additional $500 will be forwarded down to Redkite from Energy Australia, my employer. It was great to see so many familiar faces from Redkite that we see just once or twice a year

Delivery of the 2017 cheque to Tyler. It was sad news that Tyler is leaving Redkite in less than a week, but he promises to come to the display once again in 2018 along with some of the Redkite staff.

Well done Guys. Keep up the good work. Good to see the lights bring joy in more ways than one.
2017 will be our third light display and second fundraiser for a daycare facility for intellectually challenged adults.

Thanks Drakky, but in reality anything we do is for the public. My display is for those who view it, and get free lollypops, but the fundraising for charity is a secondary thing, and any money we raise for them is a bonus, with the name and discussion about Redkite being one of the biggest things.
