Hi all,

There's 9 metal pegboards in my local area for $20 total. I'm thinking they could be an easy way to make props and matrices as the holes are already drilled.

Only thing is I think (waiting on confirmation) the hole size is probably 6mm. Do you think it's worth it? Might be a heck of a lot of work to drill them all larger if they are too small...

Alternatively I could use the holes to cable-tie the pixels on the front... What do you think?

9 for $20 thats a bargain!!!.... shouldnt take much to enlarge the holes to 12 mm..... all perfectly spaced great for a matrix or similar!
and even if you dont use them for lights.... 9 for $20 thats a bargain!!!

It may be worth the punt for $20.
You will need to drill them, but a good quality step drill bit would work fine, just a lot of time, but hey, if you are sitting in your shed with the fire going and a cold Beveridge, time flies.
the only other thing to consider is rust, just make sure you either spray them with a water repellent if you don't respray them or at the very least get them in as soon as xmas is over.

They sold it to someone else despite me saying I’d take it :(
