Mouth Movements for Singing Faces

Can anyone who has built a singing face before, or even knows how to do them, offer some advice??
I want to do 2 singing faces for my daughters birthday party this year.

Ive made up a design, with Peg board, drawn it all out. Im just getting stuck with the mouth movements.
I was working on 5 channels for the mouth, being for all 5 vowels. A,E,I,O,U.
Just having trouble working out what mouth shape is for what.
Unless someone has had better luck with the mouth shapes doing it different??

put a mirror next to your monitor & try to match your mouth movements. This is how the first cartoons were done by Disney many decades ago. It is idiot proof.....
