Moving a custom model with two parts.

HI Guys,
I have some custom models (Light sticks with stars). They are made up of two parts, 1 the stick, 2 the star.
Is there a way to lock them together so I can move them as one model? (Just one stick/star at a time is fine).

Hi Stephen,
You can select multiple models on the layout screen by using the <CTRL> key. Select a light stick, press and hold <CTRL> then select the associated star then drag/move them together.

Sorry I'm probably telling you something you are already aware of. There is possibly a more permanent way to lock/link models.

Beyond grouping them, I think there is not a permanent way to lock/link models at this time.

If you do find a way to "permanently link" them, PLEASE let us know.

Until then, you can group them either in the layout image, or in the props list. Then move them en-mass.

Thanks for that. The trick was to keep the CTL key held down when moving them.
