Hello.

I am joining this forum to learn more about RGB lights.

I currently use five Lynx SSR4 boards that are controlled by an Arduino. I only use white lights. My display isn't much. My biggest thing is a "tree" that has 6 strands, each running vertical.

Next year, I would like to upgrade this tree with RGBs and add more strands. I am only familiar with Arduino, so I would like to stay with that, but the small amount of reading I have been doing so far, it sounds like the Arduino would not be able to handle much.

Most of us use e1.31 for RGB controllers. They are relatively cheap for what they are and they can handle a lot of channels.

Thanks to all. I just got done reading the 101 manual. It was very helpful and easy to understand. I am already getting started on making a list of everything I want to order.

After you make your list you should run it past the knowledgeable friendly folks here before you purchase. This process can save you a time and $$. :)
