G'day to all.
I've been interested in making some Christmas light displays for some time now but haven't done anything about it. Well that has slightly changed now as I've joined here to listen and learn what I can and see if my desire is just wishful thinking or something that I'll turn into reality.
I know zip about electronics but can solder and follow step by step instructions. I'm ok on computers and can program slowly and painfully.

Welcome to ACL rooster. There's plenty of advice to be had and there's people who have stepped up this year and produced a great show when a few months ago they'd never touched a soldering iron in there lives. I don't know how many Taswegians there are registered on the site but if you're quick you can be the first to have a pin in Tassie on the display location map.
