Newbie in Issaquah, Washington state, the USA

Hi all,

I found this forum through one of the tutorials on xlights. I live in the West coast of the US, the side that shares the pacific ocean with Australia. Just bought some 8211’s, esp8266, and my intent is to create a simple decoration for Halloween (this Saturday) and Christmas. I’m a computer engineer but completely confused with xlights… I work for one of the SW companies in the Seattle area, cloud computing.

I’m learning and a newbie, so I apologize in advance for any dumb questions.
