My knowledge is extremely limited, I’ve read the 101 manual and have to admit most of this went over my head.
I’m interesting in running a lights display using my existing low voltage lights. Can you point me in the right direction to build my knowledge, basic YouTube videos for example. Or any business that supply prebuilt systems. Thanks

What sort of low voltage lights have you got?
Where in Vic are you? There's plenty of people throughout Vic who you could hit up for advice if they are nearby. I'm in Bendigo myself.

If the lights are old enough to have 3 or more wires from the multifunction controller then you can connect them to virtually any DC dimmer. If they are the newer style lights that have 2 wires from the multifunction controller to the lights then my DMX2-18 dimmer is the only option (currently) for computer control. It's on my to do list to do a setup video for the DMX2-18 but currently as close as it gets is a bit of a video I shot a few nights ago of my lights which has 16 sets of 2 wire 2 channel icicles.

http://www.hansonelectronics.com.au/product/dmx2-18/ The user manual linked on that page has a connection example. The last page of https://auschristmaslighting.com/attachments/typical-configurationsver1-0-pdf.12809/ has a DMX connection example that I need to put into all my manuals.
