Ok, I am planning to do projection this year. My Projector will arrive this week, and so will my DeerTV enclosure. I need to keep my projector outside and have it NOT move because I have heard that once you outline your house and apply the mappings, if the projector moves, you need to start over.
So, I have a weather proof case, BUT I have a lower roof that sticks out. I think if I raise the projector high enough it will shine on the full 2nd story face. In order to do that, I think the projector would need to be about 6' off the ground. How does everyone deal with that? I thought about a tri-pod. The DeerTV box will mount to a vesa 100 mount. the mounting screws are on the bottom, all tripods I have seen are for like TVs, which is 90 degrees wrong.
the other part of me thinks, eh, just let it sit on a table and ignore that the lower 2' of the upper wall is blocked...
any guidance is greatly appreciated. OH, it gets pretty cold and windy here with lots of snow.
