Null pixels for Candy Cane 99 nodes

Hi Guys - We have a heap of 99 node Canes chained together and were filled with 100 string pixels. Can I use the "Null pixel"option to avoid having to cut 1 pixel off each cane at the end to then have to solder connector back on?

That would drive me crazy with null pixels.. 48 of these with the same issue. I cut off a node and soldered female connector back on.

Thanks - So I assume the " Set Start Null Pixel" would start at 100 (being the one we want to null out) ?
