Hi all;

i have the nutcracker 2.0 code working. This is the code that allows you to match effects to your music. I still need to do some final touches to it.

But , as a teaser, here is a preview of the new features

http://meighan.net/nutcracker/tutorials/2012-08-14_2257.swf

i will make more tutorials.
1) How to mark your own mp3's so that they can be used with NC 2.0
2) How to attach effects to your songs
3) How to download them

enjoy them!

Thanks for pushing the envelope as far as allowing people to create awsome effects for their pixel displays this year.

They look amazing you did mention LOR but nothing about LSP how are you going with the LSP part of things, do you need anything from anyone to help with it.

I only show generated effects. These are the nc files that are created when the animated gif is created.

So, go to the effects generator tab, select your effect and generate the animated gif. Do that for every effect u have.

The nc files were released about two weeks ago.

After getting the nc files regenerated, go back to the projects tab

So in summary, to use Projects:

1) Make sure you have generated an animated gif for every effect you plan on using. If you have not generated a gif in the last two weeks, you need to go and do that first.
2) Go to projects tab and copy a music phrase file from my library to yours
3) Select a song and choose a target and a frame timing
4) Go to the next page and assign effects to the song.

I create a UserPatterns.xml file. I have been using this in LSP 2.0 and 2.5, works fine. It looks like i may decide on LSP 2.5 to be my sequencer this year.

so yes, i do have a working solution for lsp. I also create bmp files of the effects to put in the user patters so you see a thumbnail of the patterns
