Hi Everyone, I need help how to set up , the things needed and how to program this selfie wings . I already this prop last year but just included with the over all set up and many people use to wait for the props to light all before they can take a picture and most of the time it’s depressing as they sometimes cannot wait for good timing and sometimes just cancel to have a selfie photo . I got some details on how to set it up but still looking for more ways how to do it ? i already ordered a falcon Picap V2 and don’t yet the other . what are the other things needed like button , other boards, etc .

so you can run them:
  • Only in a sequence
  • standalone running their own thing driven by buttons/etc
  • In a sequence, but with buttons that take priority
To my mind, the second is the easiest. But I’d like to try and move mine to the third one this year.

So you probably want a dedicated FPP controller with a number of button inputs to handle the requests to display something unique. (There’s a set of 5 sequences here that I have set to go on each button press: https://pixelperfectsequences.com/collections/angel-wing-sequences )

hi, my pixie wings are on the middle of display due to lack of space . so i probably chose to have them on all sequences ( which are already ) but can have buttons to stop from the sequence, to press the button ( colour of wings lights ) then after a while , it will return back ti sequence automatically. hoping someone can give me the directions to do it. thanks

So @thewanderingpine 's suggesting of running them off their own FPP instance is the way to go. Set it up as a remote FPP - and load on the appropriate sequences for your show. That'll run as the background stuff.
Then what you can do is create the 'effect' sequences that can be triggered by local buttons.
This way the running ESEQ data will "sit on top of" the main FSEQ sequence - and overwrite that data whilst the ESEQ is running.
