I have this controller and i have ordered both 5v and 12v lights.


I was wondering if I can run 12v from one of the remote boards and 5v from another or can I only use the same voltage across all boards?

It does not matter. If your controller and pixels are powered with two different voltages, only connect the negative and data from the controller to the pixels and then connect the power supply directly to the pixels. Don't connect the positive from the controller to the pixels.

Thanks it makes sense. I just had a panic attack over weekend thinking maybe I needed more than one controller.
