Hello! (disclaimer: I'm super new at all of this!) I had a problem with a MFC on some fairly lights I have so I ended up having to remove it entirely. After I took it out only half the lights now work and after reading the wiki about MFC removal here: http://auschristmaslighting.com/wiki/Bypassing_Multi_Function_Controllers#Total_MFC_Removal It seems that I have one of the 'post 2014' models were every second light is wired in reverse, I don't mind only having second one working (its better then none of them working) but I was wondering if the lights will last very long now? or will they burn out faster or something because double the current(?) is going through them compared to before. If so is there anyway to prevent this? Thanks in advance for any help!! Tetra Little bit more info edit: Its the type of lights in which the MFC was separate from the transformer, I dont know if its helpful but heres a picture of both: http://imgur.com/a/pr1OB also since the MFC has been taken out the light do look a little brighter
The title of our introductory lighting manual contains a three digit number. What is that number? Clue: Display basics forum
