Recent update issue with singing faces?

Is it just me or does anyone else have an issue with adding the singing faces effect to xlights after the recent update?

The program becomes unresponsive whenever I try to add the singing faces effect to the sequence and I have to reboot the program.

I have tried several times with the same crash happening each time I try to add it to the sequence.

I’ve had it become unresponsive with a number of different things. 2022.09 was crashing when I imported sequences. So I’ve gone back to 08 for now.
