Hi
I'm playing around with my first xlights sequence and have a question about the relative positioning of elements within a group and whether you can change it?
I have created some small trees that line the driveway, and grouped them together.
What I would like to do is be able to put an effect on the group (eg the fire effect) and have each of the trees show more or less the same thing. Like this -
But instead what I get is this -
It seem that when I put an effect on the group it takes the relative position of the elements on the 2D image as how it should display (ie the one that is lit up in the image above it thinks is physically below the others).
The only way I could achieve the desired effect that I have in the first image is to apply the effect to each of the 8 trees individually. Which is not particularly efficient.
Is there a way to change the definition of the grouping so that all the trees are at the same height?
Thanks
