Running GPIO output scripts

Happy 2022 season all!

New to Scripts, I want to activate a random sequence off a GPIO output and found a script that sounds like what I need however is it as simple as downloading it and setting the command or do I need a bit more info for it to work? only want one sequence to play per event!

Also having a Master & remote FPP should this command be Multicast or would FPP master automatically trigger FPP Remote on sequence start?

I could not resolve running scrips that would override a pre-show (static) .FSEQ sequence, so I found creating command presets and running multiple command slots off one input trigger allows me to trigger a random sequence! but I cannot disable the GPIO input during the sequence meaning if one kept pushing the button a new random sequence plays!
