Sequence works while Display Testing but not otherwise

Currently, all my uploaded sequences display correctly when I play them directly from xLights and when using the Display Testing sequence tester. However, when I play the same sequences through a Scheduler or even just the File Manager, they don't display correctly.

The most obvious sign that something is wrong is one strand of my megatree always lights up blue, all the time, no matter the sequence - even a test sequence that turns only one prop on and the megatree is supposed to be dark. This doesn't happen when I play through xLights or the Display Testing sequence player.

Can someone explain what is going wrong? I haven't told FPP to play anything on the side, so I don't know why it would be doing this.

Check that you have Light output ON.

As the sequences are running fine when directly outputting from xLights, there are a few things it could be
1. the controller is working with an old layout and putting out weird pixel info. Upload the layout even if you think you have done it
2. The sequences you have uploaded are based on an old layout. Re-render and upload.

Its generally something simple, and re-doing some of the basics will get you running again.
