Hi there, wondering if anyone knows a solution rather than physically spinning the mega tree.
Wanted to have the main images etc on the front of the 360 degree tree but it seems the majority of the sequenced display the back.
Xlights have some settings but not sure if they are for that or not. Any help would be appreciated.

The images usually display on the front. Are you using 3D layout in xlights, if so, when you click on the megatree, the Blue arrow should be pointing towards you, and the red arrow to the right.

Hi Cranzy. Thanks for the response. The blue line is to the front but slightly to the right (not sure how to change that, but the main display is of images etc seem to start at the rear of the tree like it literally needs to spin 180 degrees.

(not sure how to change that,
Click the orange box in the middle of the three axes. You'll see the RGB arrow heads change to squares - you're now in resize mode.
Click it again, and you'll see they change to circles with round lines. You're now in rotate mode. You can then use the green rotator to spin the tree about that axes if need be.
Click a third time to return back to the arrows, which is movement mode.

Thanks Skymaster, I can give that a crack. If i then fpp the change to the controller, do you think that will change where the display shows on the tree.

The other issue around rending on the the tree is think of it as a big flat matrix, unraveled.
So an image / video will start at the back, come right around the front and go to the back again.

You may need to adjust the render buffer to only include the front, or submodel say the front 150 degrees of the tree, to ensure the images only display on that portion.
