Spiral tree issues

I am planning some mini spiral trees using the Bunnings obelisk but fits prototype isn't doing it for me. I'm just mounting pixel nodes to the frame which involved about 80 cable ties but they are all pointing different directions which doesn't look great with effects running.

I tried mounting them pointing outwards (bum off pixel to the cage) but now thinking I should mount them vertically but looking for ways of attaching them..

I've seen the @LawrenceDriveLights metal strapping which looks good of I can find some around but at other ways of attaching them. I think the contact area on cage will be to small for glue/adhesive...?

Any other bright ideas...

Try using seed pixels. Much easier to mount.

Agreed with @Domestos - I made some last year and ended up adding my own wire spiral to it, and then cable tying each individual pixel vertical the way I wanted it to be. A real pain the butt for 4 trees with only 50 pixels per tree
