Star Frame from Kmart

Hi All,


The wife found some plastic stars at Kmart for about $6 ea. They come as a star within a star and have white leds running over them powered by a battery pack.


The leds are easily unclipped and then I just flipped it over and attached some RGB strip to it. I had to cut up small strips and make up wiring looms between the strip but all over it's a good effect and very cheap.


Attached is a pic of what have I done so far.

Hi All,


Sorry for the delay in responding, I have it finished now and all lit up.


I will post some pics later when I get home, it's on the roof now, so hopefully I can get some decent pics.


It has clips on it for the existing LEDS that come with it so may fit Pixels not sure. I just used the Strip on the opposite side and cable tied it down.
