Hi

I am not really a DIY person yet ... but I am allowing myself 12 months to attempt to learn how to solder :-\

Surely, it is time for a Qld mini ... ::)

Cheers :D

Welcome Kel. we will try to help you in your move to DIY, but don't expect to save any money, all you will do is get more blinky flashy toys
Well I think that Sydney being in the middle should have the next big mini ;), but then again I'm biased

Hi Kel

Welcome to this group of fanatics. I also am not a DIY person in terms of building my own boards and controllers, but I do do a lot of soldering in modifying my light strings. I find I can do a lot using standard hardware/software packages, just costs a little more, but saves time.

I also think a Qld mini would be a good idea.

Kel

the warmest of welcomes from the chilly southern areas

DIY or buy it all, we are here to help in any way we can

it is possible to save money if your time is free. I spend time modifying store strings like Geoff, as well as building custom rgb strings

cheers
phil
