Welcome to ACL. Make sure that you grab and have a read of the ACL101. It can stop some injuries when you dive into lighting.

As AAH said; readup on the manual. Expand the depth of your knowledge before you hit the bottom diving in.

As I saw a comment on a newbie's Facebook post:
"Hope your single, rich, and have a full liquor cabinet."

Read up, study, study, plan and repeat.
