I am wondering how you guys store your display models. When its out and on display, it does not look a lot until you try to fit it all in one area. I think I need more storage... Would like to see other messes...

Honestly I'm storing most of my stuff in the backyard, behind the shed. I've put some pallets down to get it off the ground and keep it out of the wet, and putting a tarp over the top of it to keep the sun off it.. Kalgoorlie is generally dry so moisture is not really my problem, more the sun hurts it. All the electrical stuff goes into the shed, all the pixel related stuff I can easily pull off and put into boxes has gone there, but props in general have gone to the pallet.

Hey Bryan, I see a couple of empty walls, have you thought of hanging the props? Maybe some shelves against the walls for controllers, etc.
I don't have a garage/workshop, had only enough room for a small shed which filled up quickly so I had to get creative.

What's in the drum, your ex-wife? :-D
My neighbour doesn't complain about the lights or traffic....anymore. ;)
Actually it's a mega tree, strands coil up neatly inside along with the topper, guy ropes etc. But I have a spare one if the neighbours decide to give trouble lol

Like the idea of hanging from outside the house... Bunnings trip required

Hang from roof in garage, 4 feet width x 3 pieces - fits 2 x mega tree 2.5 x 16 x 25mm pvc, gutter frames, roof frames - wooden slates, coro to cover and reduce heat, no problems, arch LDPE tubing just placed in roof between purlins to hold shape, other buts stored in shelving etc.

My mancave has Ikea shelving on the end wall and I have a lot of stuff stored there.

View media item 516Coro presents up top, singing faces tucked away at the back down below, and a couple of tubs hold all the cabling for the show, as well as spares of lights, connectors etc.

View media item 515Top shelf has coro stars (CBF cutting all the zipties to flatten them!) and some of my halloween props, next shelf has Kmart stars, spare PSUs, Kmart & UV floods and 4x1 P10 matrix/sign. Next shelf has most of the controller/PSU enclosure boxes. Side wall has 5x5 P10 matrix, and large coro boxes in front of it. The spinners I've yet to breakdown and put into large bags in the roof.

View media item 514Panorama of mancave roof space. Left just out of shot are some crates with old AC, DC & dumb rgb stuff, then the motif boxes (works in progress to convert to pixels) mini tree stands and bag of decorations. Merry Xmas coro pixel sign in the middle, over to the right is all the roof strip on conduit, and the arches. Behind me out of shot is more bits and pieces such as a heap of 90cm Kmart trees ready for some pixels, and some yard blow ups.
