roof outlines lollie pops just put lights in em and stick em in the ground like random posts Santa Stops here sign posts
 
You could use them as the base of a candle , North pole, or just hanging from the roof line (either full length , cut into even lengths or uneven lengths - see AAH) or horizontally near the roof line or as 'steps'
