Just a heads up, I ordered some (about 90 total) pre-made 4-wire seed pixel strings in 5V with RayWu plugs.. 100 pixels long. I tested some strings and found all of them had a "dud" pixel on both the start and end of each string. Thinking this was weird, I also tested with another controller and found the same thing.
Upon closer inspection, the first and last "dud" pixels are not actually pixels at all. This was confirmed also by counting the pixels and found each string has 102 "pixels" in each. Looking closer they do look a little different to the pixels, less silicone maybe? (see picture) - more noticeable on the rear of the string.
I figured that maybe the first and last "fake pixel" is actually a silicone covered join between the length of pixels and the RayWu flat pigtail connector ends.
Just thought I would let others know so you don't get tripped up on this like I did.
