I've been using a Hakko 701 soldering station for well over 15 years now. They make good Irons even if a bit $$$.
my workshop probably has a dozen of them, never give any problems. My biggest issue is the parts are getting smaller and my eyes are getting older…. lol

I used to be a devote Weller user but I "won" a Hakko 888 from a forum a few years back and have been converted ever since!
