Another problem with strip is that it is prone to overheating when you solder it. This causes the joins to fail at a later date. I should have also mentioned pre-emphasis with transmitters. Avoid getting a Transmitter from North America or South Korea. They use a different amount of pre-emphasis compared to here in Australia.
