G'day everyone,
This is so far out of my league.... don't know what I'm doing. 😂🤣
I downloaded the 101 Manual. Most of it, went over my head! 🤷‍♀️ So I'm wondering if anyone in FNQ is selling a full set up, ready to hang/display package.
I did see a full package for sale in a southern state, but I think freight cost or damage in transit could be an issue. So would prefer to buy from someone if Far North Queensland.
Ideally I'd love to have it synchronized to Christmas music and via a fm transmitter. Maybe I can attach that later?
If anyone is in the know, please message me.
Cheers!

I don't want to come across harsh or anything but buying a setup will be 100% more difficult than setting your own up, as you now need to learn what the last owner of that light display had done/used/wired etc. Starting from the beginning learning and adding a little bit at a time will be the best way to build up to a larger display. You will be well in over your head if you take on someone else's show without understanding how anything works to begin with.

I agree with NEL, if you're still unsure about how it all works, buying it all at once and trying to figure it out could be quite stressful. Your millage may vary, depends on how quickly you can learn and adapt.

Whilst its a few years old now, I often recommend this video to new members who want to watch a video that covers pretty much everything you need to know to get into the hobby, presented by our very own Keith who is also a developer of the xlights sequencing software, arguably the most used christmas light sequencing software used around the world.

Rule number 1. Start small. Don't try to set up something that's crazy massive. It's better to do something small very well, than half-bake something big. It also means your outlay is not signficant, and you can find out if it "clicks" and you then want to take things further.
And realistically, your visitors will love whatever you clobber together. Even a few things going, to music or not, is an awesome learning experience for you, and a great visual for your display.
