What got you started in the hobby...

Shame I could only select 2 options. All of the options apply to me, apart from 'Parents decorated our house growing up'. There is definitely another option that should be on there, 'Chevy Chase - National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation'. After seeing that movie it was my life long dream to put up lights on my house.

I saw an animated video of Halloween light show float around facebook, said I want to do that. Wasnt until I stumbled upon Heathwithnoteeths house where he pointed me in the right direction.

Started back in the days of Jr. High. Early 70s.. started a lightshow company called "Odessa". did crazy lights for bands and dances. Made almost all of our own props and light fixtures.. No normal spot light stuff.. ha ha..
Of course this worked in the animated Christmas lights in the mid 70s.. Been going ever since.. Last year is the first time in over 40 years I haven't done some sort of Christmas display.. static or animated.. it was strange.. but we are on this year.. just way behind
