Hi Team,

I have a few sets of Pixel Strings (12v) with an inline controller with IR controller with 70 effects. I would like the same but in a Wifi Version with an app and a lot of cool preset effects. Smart home compatible would be amazing.

Any suggestions

G'day Aaron, NodeMCU or similar ESP32 device running WLED.
For smart home compatability I use Home Assistant and it has an integration for WLED and once installed will auto discover any WLED devices on the network.
WLED also works with my Xmas lights show.
Cheers

Have to agree, WLED has a large assortment of effects, can be hooked up to an existing home assistant system, E1.31 streaming for xlights/Vixen/anything else that streams e1.31 etc, and can default to an effect or group of effects that loop when it is not receiving a signal. A few people on here make and sell Pixel sticks that use the ESP32, although I can't remember exactly who, someone may be able to name them.
