WS2815 12V Seed Pixels vs WS2818 5V

Hey everyone, just hoping to close out one question I've had on the age old 12v vs 5v debate.

With WS2815 seed pixels being native 12v, why would anyone use WS21818 5v seeds? Specifically interested in solving any concern I've got for fire hazard I normally run 5v, but would that be a concern with these 12V seeds?

Sorry if it's been asked before I did do plenty of trawling but haven't uncovered my answer yet.

If you already had some 5V pixels and wanted to add some seeds maybe? I’ve got about 5000 5V seeds (pixel stakes and window matrixes) that work well - but I think anything new I’m adding will be 12. (Those ones were from when seeds were fairly new - and the 5V were almost half the price of 12V)
