First, I watched this video: XLights 4 Webinar series: Singing faces
View: https://youtu.be/qxP_V5LU_nA
by AusChristmasLighting which is really helpful and I got a lot out of it.
Second, I have 2 CTB16PC controllers which gives me 32 channels(?) to work with.
Third, I'm building 2 singing faces that use 5 strings of lights each, so 10 total channels. These are just dumb, on off, type holiday lights.
Where I'm running into trouble is figuring out which string of lights is for each part of each face. In the sequencer it's only labeled Face 1 and Face 2 So how do I know which plug to plug each string of lights into? I've kind of got it working in the sequencer but I'm not understanding how to get it to the real world.
I'm not even sure if I'm using the right terminology in this question. Also I'm having a hard time finding tutorials that cover how to program dumb strings of light with xlights so if anyone can point me in a good direction I'd be grateful.
Thanks
