Xlights question & help

Hi again

I have 6 ws2812 led strip and nodemcus trying to use Xlights with WLED if so what is the protocol as these are not listed only the 2811
I started WLED and worked that out but thought i will take it a step futhur and try this

Also any idea on WLED to keep lights on longer

WS2812 is simply the 2811 chip but with it embedded into a 5V LED module rather than being external to the LED. No idea on any of the other stuff.

if i have 150 strip would it be 2 universe but whats the count as 150 dosnt work
Any one else getting crashes on latest build

We don't know what strip it is that you have exactly but with 2812 each led package is 1 pixel which is 3 channels. Power injection will be required for certain if you are daisy chaining from 1 strip to the next. 5V isn't very tolerant to voltage drop.

so 450 channels for 1 strip wow this is getting hard might stick to Wled this year work on xlights next year
