Yes another newby trying to get started

I’m looking at setting up the following,
32strand 50 pixel mega tree
Star with 200 pixel
3x arch 50 pixel in each
2x singing faces with 150 pixel in each

I’m looking to get the HE123 mk2 and beaglebone green. What other boards would I need to run the above and let me expand as time goes?

The HE123mk2 will run all of that many times over with zero problems. You won't need any other boards/controllers right away either, if you plan to go differential, the HE213 has add-ons for long-range data.
