Quick question about smart receivers. I currently have a falcon v4 controller. I also have a v4 smart receiver. I want to add another receiver. It’s a v5. Do I daisy chain or do I connect the second receiver directly to the other port in the falcon? Or, is either ok? Thanks!

either way will work, but in different ways.

If you chain, you will be splitting ports. the first receiver will be 17a, 18a, 19a, 20a and the second one will be 17b 18b 19b 20b. Pixel count will be split.

If you use the other port, one will be 17, 18, 19, 20. one will be 21, 22, 23, 24. and have independent pixel counts.

Do I then set one as A and the other as B? Are both then set as the terminating one as well?

@aimbrunone if you are looking for a couple v4 smart receivers let me know. I have some that I never plan to use. You can DM me.

Thanks for the offer. Think I’m good for now.

Katekate if I hook both receivers directly to my falcon, do I set both dials to A? Then are they BOTH then considered terminating?
