How are you stopping the drum kit from going missing in the morning- or is it out and in each night
Cheers Boof63
Ps brilliant effort
I leave it out all night.. There is a 2x4 screwed to the base drum and the others are staked.. but anyone that really wanted to steal it would have no problem. I guess I am just hoping..
Thanks BTW..

Thanks so much for sharing ! Im almost lost for words is absolutely incredible how you can take those fragile snowmen and animate how you have done .hats off too you well done mr !
Thank you kind sir... It has been fun and challenging. One thing about the drummer.. I left the entire snowman in tact with the exception of the fact that I welded two collars to the internal stand. They however do not interfere with the ability to put him back to original condition should I want to. The other three... not so much.. ha ha..

They are simply awe inspiring. I would have made some but I don't use winter themes in Oz  Who am I kidding...
When is the video of them all working going up? Can't wait to see the finished product.

I usually don't do any special videos of the display running.. but I may do something this year.. Usually it is just a raw video that I don't advertise about..

do you have any how to i am a newbie but very inspired
On the first page there is a dropbox link with pics. I have not made a how to video. I was way far behind this year so I just put it all together quickly without thinking about making any info video.. I might make something when they come down but I don't think you can buy the snowmen anymore. You would have to find another outer skin.
There is a short excerpt phone video of from the song I use them in if you want to see them in the show. It doesn't really show the drummer very well, but it was actually to show someone the Plasma Icicles 2.0 and not the snowmen.

I am so happy with the snowman orchestra "The Snow Globes" this year.. They worked every time just as they should.. They showed up and performed 7 times every hour for every single night we played.

The only "hiccup" was that a few of the foam snow flakes that were on the middle sash came off because the glue didn't stick well enough.. But that was to be expected since they are Dollar Tree specials.. something like 20 for a dollar.. ha ha.

We had a young man of 6 come visit and watch the very last show.. He and his parents were allowed to stand by the The Snow Globes and take pictures. He found some of these snow flakes on the ground and I told him they were "Lucky Snow Flakes" that were shed by the Snowmen since it was the end of the season and that he could keep them.. That was fun..

Well, this was our last season for "Lights at the Ranch" as a public display. We have officially gone dark for good.. Thanks to all and Happy New Year!
