    RGB Theatre Room idea's

Further to this, We have finally got around to ordering everything listed above (from my post) and are starting to work on the layout before the items arrive later this week (and before we finish plastering). Here is the layout I have so far: I'm just curious as to the power output section on...

    RGB Theatre Room idea's

O.K., I've just been speaking to Ray, and we have come up with the following shopping list (if anyone wants to do something similar): Controllers (pick which remote option you want, ie colour dial or buttons)...

    RGB Theatre Room idea's

He is still going to put in a few LED downlights into the room for the white light, so it's no big deal. I'm not sure what the RGBW is, does that mean there is 4 terminals/channels? Can I just use the RGB channels in this case?

    RGB Theatre Room idea's

I was looking at this one in my search http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/M4-remote-receiver-RGBW-led-controller-DC5-24V-input-5A-4CH-output/701799_1653954630.html Any idea's if this will be o.k. It has plus and minus controls on it, so I'm assuming it's for brightness?

    RGB Theatre Room idea's

Howdy all, I'm back after almost burning myself right out from last years display (as well as other projects running at the same time). I'm currently assisting my brother with building his house, and we are almost at plastering stage downstairs and starting to cable. He is wanting to build a...

    Gutless Vandals

Sorry to hear what happened Kane. Hope these pr$cks don't come back. At least your video evidence shows the culprit's vehicle. How hard would it be to spot a white late model range rover with a sunroof in your area?

    Hopeless at video/photo's

I have been playing with my camera over the last 2 nights, so far I managed to get a good recording the first night but the mega tree towards the top comes up white (instead of showing the true colours), due to the extreme brightness. The 2nd night, I changed the camera to night mode and...

Using LSP to run Australia's most iconic Christmas Tree

Yep, definetly out of my league for sure. I'll wait for the ray wu version. I can only imagine how busy you have been with your own display, let alone taking on another project like this.

Using LSP to run Australia's most iconic Christmas Tree

Looks good Fast Eddy, fantastic effort as always. Do you know the details of the ribbon? It looks quite flexible, and might be a good thing for next years display.

    Scheduler blocking wireless connections

There is a setting on the new routers to set the channel width for the wifi to 20/40Mhz or just 20Mhz. I recently had to change mine to 20Mhz only and it solved issues with my wifi access randomly dropping off at home.

    Sequencer now not starting shows

Try the following: Delete your show from the scheduler Delete c:\windows\temp\*.* Delete %temp%\* Delete C:\ProgramData\Minleon\LightShowPro\Server\ClientFiles\* Open Scheduler and put your show back together Watch the Task Manager (sorted by CPU use) and wait till the LightShowPro Services has...

pixel strings not working from Ray

Is it possible that just the 1st pixel is no good, but the rest are o.k.?

pixel strings not working from Ray

Did you happen to power up those 5 strips with the 12v PSU? They may been fried. Did you see any smoke coming from them in this case?

there was a problem loading the sequence....

Al least that's a starting point. I spent this week remaking an existing sequence from scratch after the sequencer and the scheduler decided that the sequence was 1:53 long, where it was really 2:35. It would speed up my sequence to fit the 1:53 timeframe, and then there would be 40 seconds of...
