Hi All,
Been a long time and I finally decided to pull my old Falcon F-16v2 out of the attic.
updated to firmware B022
Can reach the device over the network
Have a set of 15 pixels WS2811 connected to port S1
Power is being supplied from connector V2 and V1
Tested and have 12v at all...
I'm using 4 sets chained together from one power supply, so just the end of the last set is getting that pinkish hue, I think I will power inject about midway and see how that goes

Thanks,
I don't think the brightness thing will matter too much, so If I just wire from the power supply to the end of the lights on 12v+ and negative rail on the lights, that should work fine?
It won't sort of backfeed and cause any issues?
Thanks
Thanks for all the replies, you have given some ideas.
I think I just had it configured it wrong, Now I am getting something a bit closer to what I have.
I'll have to count the spirals when I get home and work out how many there are.
Also has anyone used the generate custom model...
Hi All,

They are on a set of icicles and Ray said not to send voltage back the other way, so I assume I just cut the pigtail and splice another set of wires on?

It has clips on it for the existing LEDS that come with it so may fit Pixels not sure. I just used...
Hi All,
The wife found some plastic stars at Kmart for about $6 ea. They come as a star within a star and have white leds running over them powered by a battery pack.
The leds are easily unclipped and then I just flipped it over and attached some RGB strip to it. I had to cut up small strips...
Hi Pete,
Welcome, I myself was in the same position about a month ago. It is very late in the year to get started. You probably need to start with deciding on a controller and get that sorted, there are a few around. I purchased a Falcon F16v2 controller which you can get in Australia.
As...
Hi Alec,
Just wanted to let you know that after the setup video, I got my panels all up and running. It's so easy to upload the new config, and I like how it's fairly standalone.
Now just to make some sort of enclosure....
