Did you guys end up getting any STL files created for these? I have the same panel and the brackets I got from wiredwatts don't really line up for me, so want to print my own and haven't bee able to find anything that works yet.
....I did a pretty sketch projection this year with the juggling snowman...took a ladder, put a bed sheet over it and projected on that. other than the wind tipping the ladder over it worked great!! where the $$$$ comes in should be the projector, then the effects, then the screen.
I built a box for my 6x4 matrix and put plexiglass (lexan actually) for the front of it. I then mounted it on the garage by two hooks at the top and put two screws in the sides at the bottom to stop it from moving in the wind. It's very much a bad idea and I don't recommend it to anyone unless...
Hmmmm. I know you can do new timing effects and use the drop down and pick from a small list of qm plugins. I never realized you need software installed on top of xlights. I'm running mostly the Mac build so I wonder if these are cross platform related issues.
Top notch!! I have to ask...vixen, nutcracker or other sequencing tool - what did you use to create these? I'm so impressed by the quality of the sequencing. I have an impressive display but my lack of talent or taking the time to tighten up from just using random effects in nutcracker make my...
Very glad no one got hurt because if there were any kiddies outside watching the show we would all be heartbroken.
Let's hope that Santa brings coal to the driver for Christmas this year and that the engineer says you can stay in the house for Christmas

That power supply sends out 5v. I had to dial it up to the max to get the led (green data one) to light. I thought I would of needed a strong PS voltage wise because of the rating on the mr16. Didn't need to step...

Eventually I was able to get 30 of my 48 lights to work and used cat3 cable to join them. Used hot glue to seal them up (once in the sleeve and once in the c9).
I will see what I can salvage from the ones not working. I think for the most part I struggled with...
XLtap is a manual way to make timing marks but I find it a lot easier than with Audacity. Once you create timing marks manually in XLtap and bring in to xlights (just use the audacity option when selecting the song). Once in the grid in xlights what I do is just select two or three models, lock...
In nutcracker create a new sequence and use the radio button on the right side that I think says xml vs the one in the middle that says audacity timing. That's it really. Sean has a video or two on sharing sequences and that is the jist of how to do it. Would be awesome if people can share...
