Ahh, i see, well hopefully then once i upgrade to 7 it might sort the issue as it was fine in my last house but due to the move not had a chance to run the controller up in over a year and i want to get it sorted for this Christmas so hoping that with the new version of FPP it might work again...

@oldsalt Think i missed you? I was on, i have connected the K4 via an ethernet and i get an IP that will work (192.168.1.xx) i can connect to the FPP. As soon as i connect the WIFI adaptor im back to the 192.168.8.xx. How do i set it so the wifi stays at a 192.168.1.xx so the router will work...

Would midday your time be OK for you to run through sorting the IP address with me?
