Any good industrial construction adhesive like Loktite PL400, will work fine. I've had this on my concrete tile roof for over 10 years. Another benefit: doesn't need any special prep before application. Kevin
If you haven't already purchased your strips, you might consider going with 12V 2811 strips. The current will be cut by approx 2/3, requiring wire with a much smaller cross section. Kevin
I was able to locate a source for UV stable white acrylic tubing. It comes in 6' lengths and the 4"dia runs $30US per foot. For an extra 15% charge they will cut to length. Here's the link:

Traffic, was the frame for the star DIY or is it available online? I have been looking for a source for frames for elements but haven't seen anything suitable for RGB modules or strips. Christmas_leds.com has some but they are more suited to icans and "dumb" leds. Thanks, Kevin
Eddy, is there another source for this tutorial? A three hour "LSP for dummies" is exactly what I need. It appears the server doesn't exist anymore. Thanks, Kevin.
OMFT, excellent idea. Saved me from spending $200 on lab PSU's, plus if one fails during the "season" another can be procured just about anywhere-quickly. Also solved the problem of finding a dual voltage PSU with enough current capacity. Thanks :)
Thank you, one and all. I have already read the ACL 101 Manual.......wealth of information. Answered most of my questions and pointed me in the right direction. Time to get busy with putting it all together. Look forward to chatting with you guys in the future. Thanks again./
After buying my first 5 strings of GE Color Effects.......quickly discovered the necessity to sync the light patterns, as well as the deficiencies of the stock controllers. What a can of worms that has turned out to be. I can only compare it to eating potato chips. You start with one.........:-)
