my thought at the time it was clean & simple, plug it in and walk away every strip is made in the same manner so it doesn't matter which order you use the strips unlike my last tree which didn't use alternate nodes

you could try put it through MP3Gain which may clean the file up ... i put all audio file through this to level the sound the same across all nothing worse than thinking you've set the volume spot to only find you have a really loud mp3
