As the sequences are running fine when directly outputting from xLights, there are a few things it could be
1. the controller is working with an old layout and putting out weird pixel info. Upload the layout even if you think you have done it
2. The sequences you have uploaded are based on an...
Lengths all depend on hole depth and how high you want the mega tree to be.
The steel only came in 6.5m lengths, so the cuts were based on what i needed (and that would fit inside my car). Ive still got the left over bits from the 50nb and 40nb down the side of my house....my wife is thrilled...
The short of it is, if you find a sequence that you like the look of. You can 100% map that sequence to your own display.
Results may vary based on number of props and the type you have. But as the show grows, you can used the purchased sequence to map to every new additional prop.
Not many include songs in the purchase price. It gets a bit risky including music due to copyright etc.
Most vendors provide a link to the song. In Australia, there is not as many options for purchasing music, but i have found iTunes have most things. Just allow for $2 extra for a song
I know exactly what is causing this. It's to do with rotating the model in the layout rather than in the model data. It makes effects look all funny. I decided to mount all my flakes in a different orientation to the original as well.
Here is the fix.
- Rotate the model (in layout), to how it...
This was my list/cost when i built my mega tree. Approx 4.5m high, 32x150pixels. Costs are without pixels/controllers etc.

there are a few other versions of mounts for various configurations.
The one for the RS-320 is from https://www.baldrickboard.com/en/fun-stuff/stls-and-mounts
The LRS-600 version is a modified version that i did.
Hope that helps
I found programming the hardest bit to figure out. Not to much risk in damaging the relay if hooked up correctly.
The biggest indicator is if you hear the 'click' when the relay is triggered. If its not triggering, its likely not programmed correctly.
Have a look at these instructions to see...
Most icicles you need to put in the drop pattern you have.
I got some from ELD at this is what I use. Make sure you click alternate nodes
might be slightly different depending on what you ordered
They are from the same Power supply that the receivers/controllers are supplying data.
As i am typically powering 600+ pixels per port, they need power injection. As all my power injection is from the same power supply, i dont have to worry about breaking positive's etc. It's one way of doing...
Very cool, but no idea if 100fps makes a difference in person. You tell us, worth the jump from 40?
Must have been a huge show overhaul from a wiring/controllers/networking point of view. I shudder to think how much work that would be.
