I received an order of the Square metal modules from Ray Wu. The one's I purchased have four 5050 RGBs and a WS2801 chip on them. Upon inspection, I noticed that about half of them do not have the waterproofing clear material covering the 2801 chips. The other half seem to be nicely filled up...

I really enjoyed reading through this thread today. Hendece, I am curious how the modules were mounted ? Did you make a slot in the back and insert them ? I plan to see what the tinting suppliers have in my local area, here in North Carolina.

I like the packing strap idea. How do you recommend mounting those pixels to the packing strap to keep them looking nice but allow the strap to take the strain ?
