Amps won't be your issue, 1 amp for RPi is minimum required 2.5 is better, less than 1 & it will have problems, 5 amps just gives you head room.
Voltage is the big one, They need 5volts not 12, which is what I would expect the ATX out is,
**Edit I thought it was straight into the pie I see now...
I wouldn't worry about power injection my 5v 32 string x 50 doesn't need it. Although the power is balanced over 4 strings top & bottom, 200 pixels per channel. Only running 30% so it doesn't blind people :)
Well said Ken, this is my 4th year but will never forget all the help I got from this site, it would have been impossible otherwise.
Good luck & I look forward to seeing the outcome!
Hmm I thought only port 1, The Top port on the F16 could be used with a smart receiver? Did you check the manual?
"Quote from Manual"
The “DMX1” connector can also drive all 4 ports on a differential receiver without the need for a differential expansion board. A single port on the...

I use this wire from the power supply to the F16 & my distro boards. I also run a 5v Show.

Its also avaliable in black.
A fuse to the F16 on both power inputs makes sense.
I don't fuse the power to my distro...
Are you certain your show directory is exactly the same as before update? Points to the same spot?
Also when I save a sequence in the current version it now saves as a .xsq file
So that totals 270 pixels. My Mini Trees total 500 pixels & are ran off one port, you should be able to join all strings together & run it off one port easily.
Is it 5v or 12v you may want to power inject.
I use 5 volt Pixels which can take a little more wiring ( Power injection ) then the 12 volt option.

I used these for my first build a few years ago, They are very small wires to work with and break easily, Although I got through the season ok they gave trouble the next year & ultimately had to be replaced.
Try to wait & purchase 18/ 20 Awg so what you make lasts.
