Sounds similar to what @christmasdave needed with his extra pixels ....
Situation is slightly different, but the solution is the same.
Here's a link (ignore the Advatek settings)

Looking at a still frame of the video ... going Clockwise, from the top left,
... across the top and down the right looks to be about the same number of nodes on the left side
... first gap looks to be about the size of the bottom left horizontal part
... next lit section is about the size of...
The 'graceful' interrupt on FPP completes the current item before stopping. I would guess the xSchedule does the same. I can't remember which came first. (the chicken/egg situation)
I'm not an xSchedule user, so need to leave that to others to answer.
Adding on to what Alan said above .... (as it sounds like it might be some random data leakage)
In xLights Layout;-
- For each output, create a model and call it NULL1, NULL2 etc, (or NOT USED output 1) or something similar that you'll remember, and give it the number of pixels connected to the...
Sorry, Grozzy you are wrong there. You need to also look at the End UNIVERSE.
Here's the math .....
Port 1 - 81 pixels
Port 2 - 324 pixels
Total = 405 pixels
multiply x 3 to get channels = 1215
subtract 2 previous universes of 510 each leaves 195 on universe 3.
@johnalex1985
I would suggest the following ...
- Create a single line. (or a custom model if you want to draw it out - setting all nodes to 1)
- In the properties go down to 'String Properties'
- Change String type from RGB to 'Superstring' for multiple independently controlled colours, ie a...
@badger4543
First thing I would suggest is FORGET ABOUT UNIVERSES ... With the Visualiser and starting out, you don't NEED to know about them.
With that said, here's what I've done to hopefully guide you through this. Note I am using Version 2021.27
So I recreated the items for your first 5...
@Tonyst
I based my Helix trees on the same Vivid display.
xLights Mapping
Yes it is definitely a Custom model.
I also mapped a Matrix for each Helix as a shadow model. 10 wide x 15 high each - Most of the effects were done on the shadow model.
Construction
I made mine by attaching 10 pixels to...
