does anyone know if I could use these strips in a 12 strand tree? (To be used with Pixcon 16)
My concern is that it states 133 changing patterns and changing speeds. Does it just relate to a controller, or the capacity of the strip?

Hi everyone,
I've noticed a lot of IC led strips like these ones, on eBay, but they say "133 different changing patterns and speeds". What does this mean, and can I control them using a lightorama pixcon 16? I plan to do a 12 strand tree. Thanks in advance, Annette

Thank you for your suggestions. I've taken the arches down and replaced them with dumb rgb.
I'll test them as you've suggested.
If they are broken, how hard is soldering?
:)

I use LOR16, daisy chained to 2 x cmb24 and 4 ccr. I have configured all units using S4. I also have SuperStar. I run my sequences using a show director mp3.
So, I set up my 4 CCRs in double arches (half length, 2 arches per CCR).

Just would like to know if there is an easy way to mount rgb strips onto a tin roof (to outline the shape of the roof, not along the guttering).
Would conduit work? How would they be secured to the roof?
Has anyone had any success with magnets?
