We have been getting a ton of questions lately about adding any of our basic lights (ie: Flood, Spotlight or Wall Runners) to the LOR, or any DC controller. While our new 16 channel DC controller isn't available yet it will be soon enough so we released information on two different breakout...
Everyone here gave a lot of great information. This isn't the place to point you in the right directions for our Seasonal Entertainment products but there are a lot of options out there for you to add DMX to LOR very easily. You do it very easily and very inexpensively. If you want to discuss...
Sorry I missed this post everyone...
Please take the information currently posted with a grain of salt. We will be updating the website before the items go on sale in the next week. David is correct...the 4 amps was just a rough figure but after testing it is going to be reduced to 3 amps...
Also, use the ELOR with RPM's E1.31 Bridge. You get about 4 DMX networks for under $200 bucks AND it is basically plug 'n play. No need to worry about configurations within the ethernet network if you just want basic control. I am running 2 of these setups for our Rainbow Pixel...
Well said Phil. I am not sure how we could disagree as I only have 12 posts (LOL) but you are right it did come across as a marketing scheme and it was not meant to be. I only can honestly and truthfully relate to our equipment, as I am involved with the designers during the design process, so...
Mark,
I am not here to start an argument nor am I here to smash what David is selling but let me tell you the facts...
The DMX protocol, set by USITT, clearly states that you can not just split the data line for DMX. The signal must be repeated or multiplied in some manner. The reason being is...
If anyone ever has any issues with any of our resistor or LEDs or board, please open up a support ticket on our site so we can get you the replacement parts you need. There is no need for you to have to replace the stuff as we stand behind your work completely. We will also replace your...
If you are going the RGB route, you may want to look into our MultiPort Blender.

Complete DMX splitter and it has 12 volts built into the pigtails, which don't need to be used.

Eddy,
Can you please verify that you got a 2ohm resistor? The bands you specified are for a 1 ohm resistor, which is what should be on the wall runners. I had to think about it and verified it here:

I don't think you should have gotten a 2 ohm...
Chuck,
In absolutely no way do I think you were "slandering" my stuff. I hope I didn't come across that way as i was just trying to explain how things were designed to run. Questions are what make the world go round, so I always welcome them. I hate the fact that emotion doesn't translate...
I was made aware of this post today, so I am sorry for not jumping in here sooner.
First off, I would like to know how you are testing these. I just tested the LEDs seperately and they are drawing between 29 and 30 mA a piece. I than went and tested a flood, which is drawing 538 mA for the...
