DMX2-24 with Lexi Lighting acrylic led lights

For the "Santa Stop Here" sign and a couple of the reindeer lights, it's either steady on, or timer. But I've also got a couple of these Lexi Lighting Wifi Tuya App-Control adaptor which have the 8 function button and looks like this: These are said to "Works on Most Lights 31-33V 8.4W or Less".

DMX2-24 with Lexi Lighting acrylic led lights

Yeah, I think you're on the money. I've uploaded a couple of additional images of the other power supplies and they each have a solid and dashed line (i.e. DC) after the output voltage vs the ~ which is included after the AC input voltage. I may have to toss up whether it's worth incorporating...

DMX2-24 with Lexi Lighting acrylic led lights

Yeah, they're using a 2 pin style connector very similar to Ray Wu's but they seem to have a slightly different barrel depth.

DMX2-24 with Lexi Lighting acrylic led lights

Hi, I have the following acrylic led lights which I would ideally like to be able to incorporate in to xlights without the risk of "blowing up" any of the these lights...

Hi, without hijacking this thread. How would one go about safely measuring the output (e.g. sticking the multimeter probes somewhere)?

Lighting issues with WS2812B 5V pixel strips

Just wanted to provide an update in case anyone else experiences a similar issue. I ended up getting the strip working after disabling and re-enabling the brightness limiter option in WLED which, allowed the whole strip to light up as expected. I was then able to run a second WLED instance on...

Lighting issues with WS2812B 5V pixel strips

Hi MAZMick, by half-lit I meant that approximately 25 of the 50 pixel run are lighting up at all. Yeah my diagram isn't the greatest, I might need to look into something like LucidChart which seems popular around here. The diagram is is meant to represent the wire run from the control box...

Lighting issues with WS2812B 5V pixel strips

Yeah and I even played around with the value just in case. but unfortunately it didn't make a difference.

Lighting issues with WS2812B 5V pixel strips

I'm hoping someone with more experience may be able to provide some assistance/advice. I've currently got two functioning strips of WS2812B 5V LEDS with power injection at every 101 pixels. I fried one strip of pixels whilst soldering yesterday so the WAF is dropping fast with the "wouldn't...

    Control box fan/power advice

Yeah, I realised I had stuffed up with the airflow shortly after making the cuts. :( It probably didn't help that the images were auto-rotated by 90 degrees on upload. 😣But yes I do see that the top fan (pictured bottom-left) is now a big water ingress point . Fortunately for this...

    Control box fan/power advice

I have made my first attempt at wiring up my control box and hoping someone might be able to offer some advice on the following points: * What sized screws would I need in order to mount the side fan to the ventilator (pictured)? * Would I need to lower the top (sucker) fan by using a resistor...

    Hello all from another aussie

Hi all, Another newbie to the world of non plug-n-play Christmas lights. I've already read the very informative 101 guide several times and have been scouring the forums for useful tips and tricks. I'm taking the plunge this year and going with a modest setup of ESP8266's running WLED, a bunch...
